MARTIAN GOLF BALL
A hand-cast speculative object: a martian golf ball.
Builing on a narrative developed during the Midas Tongue residency on the notion that the first terraforming on Mars will be golf courses for travelling billionaires, this golf ball is designed to perform in Martian gravity. As Martian gravity is weaker than Earths, this golf ball feels heavy in the hand.
Produced as part of group exhibition SoftWorks at Avalon Cafe, London, curated by Sarah Vowden.
